The young Bega novelist will talk about his book in conversation with manager of cultural inclusion for Twofold Aboriginal Corporation Alison Simpson.

The event will also include a traditional dance from Duurunu Miru, as well as performances by Eden Marine High students.

'The Boy From The Mish' is a Young Adult novel that visits issues many young people grapple with such as difference, sexuality, loneliness and growing up in a country town.

The novel has been widely applauded since Mr Lonesborough's book launch in Bega earlier this year, and he has since signed the rights to see his book released in the US, Canada and Mexico.

"I wrote this book for people like me. I hope they read it and know they are not alone," Mr Lonesborough said.

"Also, for other writers in small towns it says 'you can achieve your dreams'. If I can do it, anyone can."

Afternoon tea will be provided and coffee will be available to purchase from a coffee cart.

Bring your warm clothing as part of the afternoon is outside and the hall is large and difficult to heat.
