On Sunday, June 13, The Coconuts play a glorious afternoon show (3-6pm) at Candelo Bowling Green, for your aural and spiritual delectation.
Rufino, who recently appeared in the region to play Four Winds with Mikelangelo and the Black Sea Gentlemen, now returns with his own full band of misfits and castaways to bring joyous jungle mayhem to Candelo.
Having released their much-praised debut album Centroturist at the end 2019 - and hardly having had a chance to play it - the Coconuts are yearning to make musical love to your ears (at a safe distance of course!). This is tropical Kabaret with heart, soul, humour and mind-bending artistic vision that will transport you to the wild island holiday you can't have right now!
So, time to dust off the tropical attire, get on the bike (or e-scooter?) and take in the exotic sights of joy and terror with Rufino and the Coconuts.
Special support comes from local good-time groovers The Wisecracks with their toe tapping, hip shaking, big brass madness.
