Fine weather greeted the 28 shooters who rolled up to Bega's Tarraganda ground for the June shoot.
The program included a 50-target double barrel, 25 targets of single barrel and a 25-target ball trap to round out the afternoon.
The double barrel opened the program and Craig Field shot the maximum, hitting all 50 to win AA grade from Alf Niesar one down on 49.
In A Grade, Dean Shipton led the field with a fine 48/50, leaving Kevin Hurt and Mick Diss to fight out second after they finished on 47/50. Hurt won the shoot off after four extra targets. In B Grade, Chris Brown and Lindsay Blewitt, shooting side by side in squad four found 48/50 to be a nice result.
It took 12 extra shots for Brown to be named winner in the shoot-off.
Christel Feldmann showed the way in C Grade, winning with a score of 42/50, with Geoff Beht in second, 35/50.
In the single barrel, Field continued his form with 24/25 to lead AA grade with Charlie Smith, Alf Niesar and Ray Welch going to a shoot-off just one target back. Niesar took runner-up spot after a short challenge.
Three contestants, Kevin Hurt, Col Sheehan and Stuart Shipton tied on 21/25 to send A grade to its own shoot off where Sheehan emerged on top from Hurt.
Dale Hurt needed one extra target to decide B Grade, winning 24/26 to Lindsay Blewitt's 23/26. Christel Feldmann followed up her first event effort, winning C Grade with a score of 19/25. Phillip Rumph took out second, 12/25.
Charlie Smith headed the ball trap in A grade with 23/25 ahead of Niesar with 20/25. Bert Deacon led the field by one to win B Grade 21/25. Tony Gray defeated John Siede, Lindsay Blewitt and Shane Platts in a shoot-off for second. C Grade went to Brian Moffitt on 18/25 with George Toyne taking second on 14/25.
With everything finished, Charlie Smith was declared High Gun with a score of 93/100.
