Renowned for songs like How to make gravy, To her door and Dumb things, Kelly will stop by Club Sapphire Merimbula on August 4, before heading north to Anita's Theatre in Thirroul for a concert the following day.
Kelly was scheduled to perform in Merimbula in September last year, on a double bill alongside Angus and Julia Stone.
The gig sold out within hours. However, their tour was cancelled amid uncertainty of border closures and COVID-19 safety precautions.
Now Kelly is packing up his band for their On the Road Again tour.
He is regarded as one of Australia's finest performers and songwriters, with a place in the ARIA Hall of Fame, 25 studio albums, multiple film soundtracks, and two live albums to his name.
His band also includes great names from Australian music like Vika and Linda Bull, Bill McDonald, Peter Luscombe, Ash Naylor and Cameron Bruce.
"We put our toe in the water with a one off New Year's Eve performance for TV but now we're really looking forward to stretching out and playing music night after night," Kelly said.
"We want to see the whites of your eyes, you lovers of sound, joy and fury; we want to charge the air around us and change each other and send you home singing into the night."
In 2020, the musician released two albums - Forty Days (performed, recorded and posted via his socials from home in lockdown) and Please Leave Your Light On (featuring adaptions of Kelly's originals with pianist and composer Paul Grabowsky).
The Club Sapphire performance on Wednesday, August 4, will be an intimate show with reserved seating. Doors open 7pm. Support 7.30pm-8pm. Paul Kelly with his band from 8.30pm.
Tickets are only available online.
