Officials said conditions had been kind with a warm day and no wind to impact scoring.
Alf Niesar and Chris Rowland both carded 48/50 in the opening 50-target double barrel. It took a total of 60 targets to separate them in the shoot off with Niesar leading the AA class.
Kevin Hurt and Allan Magri also went to a shoot off in A grade with 13 targets enough to split the pair with Hurt taking the result.
Boorowa visitor, Peter Bradford, Keith Pearce and Lindsay Blewitt all scored 48/50 in B grade. Bradford took the honours following the shoot off. Lindsay Campbell threw off the rust of a long hiatus to win C Grade from Roslyn Bradford with 44/50.
Event two was a 50-target point score with Chris Rowland again in a shoot off for AA grade this time against Ray Welch both finishing on 145/150. Welch snuck ahead to win.
A Grade went to Peter Engelbrecht with 142/150 up by four from Kevin Hurt 138/150. B Grade was a close run thing with Lindsay Blewitt on 140/150 taking first place from Peter Bradford, 139/150 in second place. C Grade was a repeat of the first event with Lindsay Campbell one point up on Roslyn Bradford.
High Gun for the shoot went to Chris Rowland with a core of 193/200.
Keith Pearce did not falter to take out the $536 in the shoot raffle and the meat tray, with the prize to reset to $100 next month.
There will be double barrel, single barrel and ball trap for the June 6 shoot.
