At South Nowra's Ison Park, the five-game National Premier League Two slate against the Southern Districts Raiders begun with the under 14s fixture.
Unfortunately, despite a goal from Lily Heckenberg, Zoe Anderson's side went down 2-1 to the Raiders.
Next up was Brittany Anderson's under 15s Phoenix outfit, who despite never giving up, went down 4-nil to a well-drilled visitors side.
Wayne Paton's under 17s South East side suffered the same outcome, losing 4-nil to the Raiders.
But the hosts' losing stretch ended in the reserve grade fixture, as a brace from Shaylee Meehan cancelled out goals from Samantha Muscat and Brooke Williams - with the score ending 2-all.
Finally, Norm Boardman's first grade squad were no match for their Southern Districts rivals, falling 5-1 - with Bronte Trew scoring the lone goal for the hosts.
The Phoenix have learnt a lot from their round two results and will look to rebound on Sunday at Ison Park - when all five teams host Inter Lions FC.
Action against the Lions will kick-off on Sunday at 8.30am with the under 14s clash before the under 15s (9.55am), under 17s (11.25am), reserve grade (1.05pm) and first grade (3pm) take to the field.
