Panboola has become the home of the Ephemeral Festival - this is the fourth year - and offers the chance to print, draw, listen, dance, paint, spin, create, weave, write, arrange, picnic, sing or simply to wander.
The Pambula Wetlands and Heritage Project is in the final stages of preparing the grounds for its annual one day festival which celebrates the landscape of Panboola and the creativity it inspires.
Organiser Michelle Richmond said this year's festival promises to be a beautiful morning in Panboola vibrant with all sorts of things that will really get the senses going and imagination firing.
This festival is being held on Saturday, April 17, is free to enter and visitors will get to take in the sights and sounds of sculpture, installations of art, craft demonstrations and acoustic music.
There will be a special performance at 10.30am by Y-Fling and Flux Creators of Fling Physical Theatre for anyone wandering the wetlands.
The pop-up style festival's name is in tribute to the ecosystem of Panboola being ephemeral wetlands. Ephemeral wetlands are highly dynamic landscapes with rising and falling water levels creating feeding and breeding opportunities for a diverse variety of fauna.
In the creative arts ephemeral refers to a work which is non-permanent. A number of sculptures, and artworks will be created for the festival and displayed temporarily or will transition over time as they succumb to the weather.
This year art installations will feature a community creation for peace and harmony - 1000 origami paper cranes folded by students at local schools, and friends of Panboola.

Visitors to the festival will be able to fold their own crane to hang in the installation.
Refreshments between 9am-2pm will be on hand with Billy and Bloom coffee/tea cart and Sapphire Coast Eats. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy Panboola.
Pambula Men's Shed, Wyndham Basket Weavers and New Moon Spoons, will be on-site showcasing their respective crafts. There will also be locally beautifully made products available to purchase.
Also on offer are some wonderful opportunities to book into workshops led by professional artists. On offer this year is botanical drawing, lino printing, frottage, spinning wool and creative writing and botanical drawing for young people.
Workshops require bookings and can be made via the Panboola website www.panboola.com.
Ephemeral is funded with assistance from the NSW Government and The Festival of Place - Summer Fund, Bega Valley Council and Country Arts Support Program. It is only possible with the amazing support of the Panboola volunteers and the people who donate to the Pambula Wetlands and Heritage Project.
