Navigate Arts was established in mid- 2019 as a creative hub for artists, run by artists.
Rose Marin will run a hands-on introduction into the art of creating temporary sculptural installations in nature using found and collected materials.
Each participant will have an opportunity to individually gather materials for their own personal creations.
It will be a family friendly event and children under 16 are free when accompanied by a paying adult.
Tickets are $35 per person and all tools and some man-made materials like natural string will be provided.
People will need comfortable clothes able to get dirty, covered shoes, sun protection and gardening gloves are advised.
Works will be left on site at Navigate Arts.
In the evening there will be an event featuring sculpture, words, movement, and music from local and interstate artists from 5.30-8.30pm at the same venue.
Special musical guests include sister folk duo Charm Of Finches from Melbourne and 6-piece Latin tropical rock band Pachamama from the ACT.
A letter writing service will run in the gardens where your thoughts of the event will be written on old fashioned typewriter and given to you as a letter to take home.
Tickets are $20 per person, but free to participants of the sculpture building workshop.
