Ovation of the Seas, Radiance of the Seas and Quantum of the Seas are scheduled to make a total of nine visits to Eden.
"The three ships will collectively inject an estimated $6.1m into Eden's economy, and $78 million into NSW economy," a Royal Caribbean spokesperson said.
"The new season also features more weekend two or three-night "sampler" cruises than ever before, so guests can get a taste for cruise life," the company spokesperson added.
Natalie Godward, cruise development manager, Port Authority of NSW said that the Port Authority was optimistic about cruise ships returning to Eden when the time was right as well as the much-needed support for local businesses and the economy.
"We know the cruise industry is developing new protocols and will be guided by medical, scientific and government advice to determine when and how cruise will return when the federal government restrictions on cruise lifts (currently in place until 17 June)," Ms Godward said.
"We are currently continuing to invest in Eden through using local contractors and supplies for the new Welcome Centre, which is due for completion soon, and are looking forward to welcoming cruise ships back in the future, when safe to do so," Ms Godward added.
The 2019/20 cruise season which was looking so promising for the town, came to a premature end with the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
One of the last cruise ships to visit Eden's specially extended wharf was the Queen Elizabeth on March 10, 2020. Soon after cruise ship cancellations were announced.
