Seasoned grower and SAGE Moruya co-founder Fraser Bayley will present the workshop after guests are treated to a 30 minute tour of Moodji by manager Dan Bakker.
The pairs said with unpredictable conditions forecast, gardens and farms need to prepare for more diverse seasons and events.
This will be a two-hour workshop exploring strategies to promote resilient productive environments as we move into an increasingly uncertain climate.
Be you a backyard gardener or a serious grower, Fraser will present a range of models to employ in your patch before trouble shooting your own projects.
Participants will explore looking at their garden, neighbourhood or market garden through different eyes and drill down into soil structure, composting systems, composting in situ, irrigation, plant selection and building biomass and diversity into your garden ecology.
Organisers hope the takeaway can be some sage advice and techniques to better prepare your patch at home for variable conditions.
Anyone interested is welcome with participation by donation. Moodji Farm is located on Young Street in Bermagui.
