The 2021 Reel It In Narooma Flathead Challenge fishing competition has been hailed a success by organisers with 241 anglers travelling from as far away as the Central Coast and Geelong in the south to compete.

On a weekend of great weather, 81 fishing teams battled it out with 'Anger Management' on 1087 points taking out this year's Flathead Challenge.
In second place was 'Lynchmob' with 1065 points, third went to "The Ashes', fourth '3M Flatty' and fourth 'MRB Communications'.
The best overall angler was Josh from team '3M Flatty'.
A spokesperson for the annual competition said Narooma was buzzing over the weekend, accommodation was full and the cafe's were booming.
"It was brilliant weekend and we were able to raise a lot of money once again for Beyond Blue."
