The owners of Tathra Bakery have previously offered free breakfasts for their community, raising thousands of dollars in the process. Their customers are just as deserving of congratulations.
On Saturday, captain of the Tathra Rural Fire Brigade Adam Wiggins presented the bakery owners with a certificate of appreciation after an extraordinary level of support was revealed.
Through a donation tin sitting on their counter for the past two years, the bakery has raised in excess of $2500 for the Tathra RFS to purchase equipment.
The tin - regularly emptied as you'd expect given the level of donations - is just one element of the Nguyens' ongoing support acknowledged by the Tathra RFS.
