On Saturday, the first division squad played host to Merimbula, but visiting bat Dylan Jordan took stock of Tathra's bowling attack early in play to smash 121 runs off just 69 balls at Lawrence Park.
Based on his efforts plus a punishing 52 from opener Mikael Hulme, the Knights were able to build to a total of 9/245 in their 40 overs.
Merimbula captain Ash Postance was caught early by Tynan Taylor, who later also caught out Dylan Lawson.
However, Hulme and Jordan built a stronghold partnership of 150 runs before Hulme was returned to the sheds lbw off a Dan Blacka ball.
Shannon Glass finally secured an end to Jordan's rein with a neat catch, but the visitors were rounding 200.
Bowling honours were shared between Blacka, Pete Bennett, Lachlan Trickey and Lachlan Brennan
Jordan added further salt to the wounds when he took catches on both of Tathra's opening batsmen in the hosts' innings.
Clinton Phillips was dismissed for four early in play, while Grass provided some stoic resolve, batting to 31 before his dismissal.
However, the top order fumbled and it wasn't until lower down the list that the hosts rallied and began putting up a worthy run chase.
Ben O'Reilly was bowled by Jordan for nine, then Elliott Hole secured catches on Taylor and Bennett for three and six respectively.
Young gun Jayden Heyhorn steadied the ship with a nicely compiled 38 runs, while 11 and 15 to Chris Dwyer and Trickey firmed Tathra's chase.
It was an addition of 34 from Geordie Gibbs with Dan Blacka not out on 16 that pulled Tathra closer still, but a catch on Gibbs brought the innings to an end all-out for 188.
Sharna Mitchell again laid a backbone for Tathra's efforts in round two of the women's draw, knocking a match-best of 54 including four sixes and eight boundaries.
Unfortunately for Tathra, Kameruka's bowling attack perked up and cleaned some cheap wickets including two ducks before 21 from Judith Orman and 10 by Sarah McMahon capped the visitors' innings at 120.
Janet King retired on 52 not-out for the Cockatoos, while Anna Martin's 19 eased the chase with good knocks from Anandarupa Saraswati (16) and Sandy Dickson (17) to finish on 3/136 with four overs in hand.
The Bega-Angledale Bulls also suffered a loss in Saturday's division one play, going down to Eden, while the women's roster fell to the South Eurobodalla Pirates on Sunday.
In men's play, Eden got a clean run to 217 with eight wickets down, while the Bulls mustered 167 when they ran short of wickets in the 36th over.
The Bulls took the crease first in their second round women's T20 clash with the Pirates and Yasmin Welsford went to town on the bowling attack, belting 51 runs before retiring not-out.
However, apart from a late 11 not-out by Bella Griffin, Bega's batting order struggled to reach double digits and the club hit steadily towards the finish ending on 7/115.
Pirates bats Abbey Dawson (38) and Mel Tiffen (34) both finished not-out with just Joanne Druhan being returned to the sheds off a Welsford ball.
Extras aided the Pirates chase and the club quickly had the result at 1/121.
Women's rounds continue until December 20, while senior men's play has just one round left before one-dayer grand final and a subsequent split for two-day play after the holiday break.
Merimbula and Tathra appear as favourites to contest the final, but South Euro and Bermagui are knocking at the door of pipping the Eagles for second place depending on this weekend.
