The festival will take place on Friday, December 4 at the Bega Civic Centre, Bega starting at 7pm.

The newly-formed Yuin choir, Djinama Yiliga, singing in the Dhurga language, and Robyn Martin will set the scene for another session of big and little ideas and new ways forward.

This year's speakers and leaders include well-known Djiringanj dancer and musician Warren Foster Jr from Wallaga Lake, Ashleigh McGuire from Ripe Mentoring in Moruya, Dave Newell from the Cobargo community, Patrick Barrie, a local plumber turned climate activist, and Skye Flattum, a spoken word and hoop artist.

This year's festival is themed Seeding Hope - Seeding Change - What if...we act now?

It is the place and the space to share your big visions and ideas for positive social change.

As region approaches the anniversary of last summer's bushfires, the Festival of Daring Possibilities will also be a space to collectively acknowledge the courage everyone has shown this year, the trauma everyone has faced, and allow people to feel hope and renewal.

Speakers and leaders will invite us to express and share our hopes, dreams and ideas with the simple prompt... WHAT IF....

Due to COVID-19 restrictions requiring limited capacity in the Bega Civic Centre, the festival will be a live show with a free live stream to reach as many people as possible and to reach those who for health reasons are unable to attend.
