About 60 students attended accompanied by parents and Bega High staff, and although strict COVID-19 rules were enforced all attendees had a great time.
"The students wore their finest and looked absolutely glamourous," an event spokesperson said.
"The proud parents watched on as the last 'formal' ritual of their children's school years took place."
There were short speeches and awards, as well as a special screening of a student-created video montage which included an original music soundtrack with videos and images tracking the progress of the students from Year 7 to 12.
"Doting teachers said their farewells and observed with pride as their erstwhile charges enjoyed the twilight of their school years," the spokesperson said.
"The food was delicious and the service, under trying circumstance, was exceptional.
"A good time was had by all."
In closing, year advisor Don Green wished all the students the very best for the future and thanked the staff at Bega High for their efforts over the last six years, as well as the parents who supported their children's efforts to achieve such an important milestone.
