A Bega man accused of possessing child abuse material has had his case adjourned for charge certification.

The 38-year-old faces a total of seven charges of possess/control child abuse material using carriage service, as well as two charges of possess child abuse material with intent to breach.
He did not appear in person when his case appeared in Bega Local Court on Tuesday, September 29, however he had obtained legal representation.
Magistrate Doug Dick said bail was to continue, noted the brief of evidence had been served and adjourned the matter for charge certification to November.
Under the charges the man faces a maximum penalty of 10 years' prison.
