A visit by two infected Sydneysiders on August 8 has forced the closure of the Wild Ginger restaurant in Huskisson.
The pair received positive test results on Monday, August 10.
In a post on its Facebook page, the restaurant said none of its employees had tested positive.
"The matter has now been taken over and is being handled by the NSW Department of Health. They will be directly contacting anyone who was at Wildginger during the 'at risk hours'," the post said.
"We are devastated at the news of this and will be closed for the next two weeks whilst our affected staff are in mandatory, two week quarantine."
In a coincidence, the restaurant was visited by local police checking on COVID compliance. They gave the restaurant the all-clear.
The Facebook post said officials from NSW Health also visited the premises on Tuesday, August 11.
