Ms Tapscott said councillors will likely vote to immediately issue rates notices, delayed due to the economic impacts of bushfires and COVID-19, allowing seven weeks for payment.

She said the wavering of charges is impacting council finances.

Councillors will vote on the approval to close a road at the Central Waste Facility in order to develop an emergency cell in support the state government's clean-up efforts following the bushfires.

Ms Tapscott said waste from the fires has seen the region quickly require more landfill options.

The meeting will also discuss whether council will accept a currently confidential offer to purchase council owned land in Bermagui.

Council will also supply an update on the Eden sportsgrounds draft masterplan which Ms Tapscott said council want completed as soon as possible.

She said the plan will expand, with a playground now set to also be included, and the area likely to be used as a relief centre for any future natural disasters.

"Emergency centres will be an issue for us going forward, because we can't have people as close to each other as we did over the summer [due to COVID-19 social distancing requirements].

Ms Tapscott said the move of meetings to online due to the pandemic has "advantages" to local government's covering large areas.

"You can get more meetings in and get more done in a day," she said.
