Police are investigating after livestock were allegedly attacked by dogs outside Cobargo last week.

NSW Police said two lambs were allegedly mauled by dogs at a property on Coolagolite Rd, Coolagolite on July 14.
Police said the landholder found one lamb dead and the other badly injured as a result of the alleged attack, and the injured lamb had to be put down.
"He sighted two large dogs described as having long white hair on the property," police said.
