At about 6.30pm, police said the woman allegedly threatened the service station attendant with a carving knife and demanded cash.
"The attendant complied and the woman fled on foot with cash," a police spokesperson said.
Officers from South Coast Police District attended a short time later and established a crime scene. Police said the staff member was not physically injured. The woman was arrested at Narooma Police Station at about 2.15am on Monday.
"A crime scene warrant was executed at the woman's home a short time later, where investigators seized clothing and a knife believed to be used in the robbery," the police spokesperson said.
The woman was charged with robbery armed with an offensive weapon.
On Monday, she was refused bail and will reappear at Batemans Bay Local Court on September 7.
