Pleas were not entered when the 38-year-old's case was heard in Bega Local Court on Tuesday, June 9, where he faced two counts of possess/control child abuse material using carriage service.
Police prosecutor Sergeant Liza Brown, who stated her instructing solicitor came from the Commonwealth Department of Public Prosecutions, said the man's computers had been seized by police and required a forensic download which was expected to take four to eight weeks.
She said the examination would mean "the likelihood of further material and charges coming before the court".
Magistrate Doug Dick said the man's bail was to continue and adjourned the matter to July 28.
