Blake William Banner, a former volunteer firefighter from Tarraganda, has pleaded not guilty to seven counts of intentionally causing a fire and being reckless to its spread in relation to fires that were allegedly started between Bega and Doctor George Mountain Rd over October and November 2019.
Mr Banner did not appear in person when his case was mentioned in Bega Local Court on Wednesday.
Magistrate Doug Dick said the case was adjourned for charge certification to July 14, while the 19-year-old's bail was to continue.
