"The Southern Regional Planning Panel notes this is an important application for the future of Eden," a spokesperson for the SRPP said.
"The panel has had access to comprehensive documentation including a council assessment report and addendum to that report, submissions made by members of the public when the application was exhibited, and heard from a representative of the applicant at the meeting yesterday."
Executives and consultants associated with the company proposing the development had expected the DA to be approved, as plans had remained unchanged since the DA had prior approval which then lapsed.
"The panel also had the benefit of a detailed briefing from council assessment staff," the spokesperson said.
"The panel has adjourned to consider its decision.
"Once a decision is made it will appear on the planning website within seven days www.planningportal.nsw.gov.au/planningpanels."
