Magistrate Doug Dick sentenced Joshua Dewberry, 27, of South Wolumla, in Bega Local Court on March 24 to a 12-month Conditional Release Order.
Dewberry pleaded guilty to installing a device to observe or film someone, and filming someone in a private act without their consent in aggravating circumstances.
While he was not convicted, the order means Dewberry must not commit any offence over the next 12 months and must attend court if requested during the term of the order.
The order will expire on March 24 next year.
