The main building was spared the force of the New Year's fire, but the fences were destroyed and children's play equipment rendered unsafe.
Being a Quaama local - and a fire survivor himself - Tim Dummett and his team at Proscape Garden Construction said it was "an honour" to be able to take on the preschool project.
"After such a traumatic school holidays for the children and their families, we wanted to be able to offer a familiar and safe space for the children to come and play as soon as possible.
"We are so thankful for the opportunity to design and build the preschool a new outdoor space, one that we know the children and families will love.
"We want to thank all our other customers who were booked in who understood that we needed to push back all other jobs to get this complete for the children as soon as possible.

"Many families of the preschool returned after losing everything they owned, some still living in shared housing, or camper trailers. The hurt from the events clearly seen in their eyes.
"Our community has endured so much destruction and devastation, seeing the children returning to preschool, so eager and excited, with big smiles on their faces truly warmed our hearts."
Proscape shared the result of their project on Facebook, with Cobargo Preschool director Christine McKnight offering her own sincere thanks.
"It is absolutely beautiful, thank you Tim and the guys. The children loved watching the transformation each day.
"It was really important for the children to see that even though something they loved was destroyed, it has been restored and is even better than it was before. An important healing process.
"Cobargo Preschool is very lucky!"
Proscape comprises Tim Dummett, Lachlan Carey, Nick Lazzaro, and Huon LeMarshal.
