It's believed the crash happened around 4.30pm, at the end of the "Bournda straight" near the bend at Sandy Beach Creek.
The road is currently closed in both directions, with motorists urged to avoid the area or expect delays.
A helicopter has now landed at the scene as well.
The condition of the drivers and any passengers is unknown at this stage. However Bega Police said they believed one driver was trapped by the collision.
It's understood leg and chest injuries were sustained by those involved.
