Through the Rotary Australia Benevolent Society grants program, they will provide assistance to people and/or businesses in the Bega Valley adversely impacted directly or indirectly by those bushfires.
A fund has been established by the three clubs to accept tax-deductible donations which will only be used for bushfire relief/recovery purposes in the Bega Valley Shire as determined by the three Rotary Clubs
Over the long term the clubs both jointly and individually will seek out projects to rebuild infrastructure, institutions and communities to adapt to changing climate patterns.
