Bega Lions' Bryson Banfield said the club branches as far as Packenham in Melbourne have been involved in distributing over 100 truck loads across the state.
"It was an awesome sight to see so many trucks arriving at the gate to the Cobargo Showgrounds, and to see the looks on the drivers faces as they drove to their designated parking sites - so proud of what they have achieved," he said.
"Today we witnessed what can only be described as wonderful, the delivery of 31 semis loaded with hay from Victoria for victims of the horrendous fires that ravaged the South Coast of NSW recently."
The club has also been liaising with international non-government organisation Team Rubicon, who helped the community following the March 2018 bushfire, around clean up work to be carried out in Cobargo and Quaama.
