The fire has burnt more than 1400ha in the area of the New Line Road and Creewah Road intersection in Glen Allen.
Fire activity has increased in the vicinity of Creewah Road and the Bombala River on the western side of the fire ground.
The fire is spreading in a northerly direction.
Firefighters are working with aircraft to slow the spread of fire.
Advice
If you are in the area of Creewah Road, New Line Road, Narrowness Road and Glen Allen area, seek shelter in a solid structure as the fire front approaches.
