The extremely popular event happens every winter and summer, but was postponed earlier in January when the Bega Showground pavilion was utilised as the emergency evacuation centre.
Rescheduled for this coming weekend, Friday to Sunday, January 24-26, it is again at the whim of the emergency operations. For any late changes to the scheduled event, see the Rotary Club of Bega's Facebook page or website.
If all goes to plan, the pavilion will be open from 9am until 5pm on Friday and Saturday and until 1pm on Sunday.
There will be an estimated 30,000 books, both fiction and non-fiction, of every genre and age group you can imagine. There will also be CDs and DVDs available, all of which thanks to the generosity of donations.
Entry is by gold coin donation and sales are by cash or EFTPOS.
