Essential Energy says work is continuing this week to restore power to hundreds of residents affected by bushfires.
The state-owned company said the level of damage sustained to the network means customers will be without power into next week.
With 666 homes without power in Quaama, Cobargo, Coolagolite, Brogo, Verona, Wandella, Yowrie and outer Cobargo, the company said power will be restored to most residents in Quaama on Friday, with the remaining areas to be connected after January 20.
Power will be restored to 18 homes at Morans Crossing and Numbugga on Friday, while 89 homes in Bemboka will have power restored after January 20.
Access was made available to parts of Bemboka and Eden on Sunday where crews have commenced repairs to the network which included replacing 15 power poles at Bemboka.
