National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) state the parks are currently closed from Thursday, December 19 to midnight on Saturday, December 21 due to the total fire ban and extreme fire danger rating.
Included in the list are the Far South Coast's Gulaga, Kooraban, Biamanga, Mimosa Rocks, Ben Boyd, Mount Imlay, South East Forests and Wadbilliga National Parks.
The NPWS states park visitors are advised to avoid remote areas during the current bushfire conditions and stay up to date with the fire situation by using the Fires Near Me app.
