Earlier in the year, the 2019 Year 12 class voted to give any of their leftover fundraising money from the year to Can Assist's Bega Valley branch.
Can Assist is an organisation that provides direct financial assistance to people in country NSW affected by cancer.
On December 9, Bega High's Year 12 captains Darnell Andy and Janet King presented $1179 to Can Assist representative Brenda Montgomery.
Ms Montgomery, who is also a retiring Music teacher at the school and one of the class's year advisers, thanked the Year 12 students for their generosity.
