The first division competition reaches the halfway mark this weekend and players will welcome in the Christmas break with a special R U Ok? round.
Matches will go ahead as usual, but players and officials will be encouraging everyone to open up dialogue and help end stigma around mental health issues.
The round stems from the Baggy Blues visit last year and a follow-up R U OK Cup clash held between Kameruka and the Pambula Bluedogs.
It was revealed then that cricketers were among the highest rates of suicide death of anyone in sport.
R U Ok ambassador and mental health advocate Glenn Cotter said the R U Ok round is a great initiative to get people talking, while reminding anyone facing difficulties that there is plenty of support available.
"There are avenues of support for anyone from 13 to ... 113," Mr Cotter said.
"If we can open up the conversation now we can help work on prevention [of suicide]."
He said everyone goes through difficult days, but it was when the low periods lingered people should seek help.
"It's alright not to feel ok every day, we can't all be on top of the world all the time, but it's when that feeling of not being ok runs into a length of time."
Mr Cotter said it would also be about empowering people to open up with their mates.
"You don't have to be afraid to ask your mate if he's okay," he said.
Association president Charles Aggenbach echoed the sentiment.
"I would love to assure all men's and women's who play our game - if they're having an issue or problems that they can confide in their club and their mates," Mr Aggenbach said.
Division one will also undergo an unfortunate shift with Wolumla withdrawing from the top grade to drop back in to division two.
Moving forward the draw will reflect a bye round in any game where the Clydesdales were rostered to compete.
The division two draw has also been updated to welcome the inclusion of the club and keep them in the competition.
Bega-Angledale have a bye, while Tathra face the Pirates at Dalmeny Oval on Saturday.
The division two competition will also go ahead on Saturday with both division one and two to enjoy a couple of weekends off for the Christmas period.
Division one will return on January 11, while division two returns later with the return round to go ahead on February 1.
