On December 8, the Bega Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present this year's Bega Community Carols by Candlelight.
Head along and enjoy the best parts of the Christmas festive season from 7.30pm.
Santa will be paying a visit with treats for the kids while the Bega Girl Guides will be running a barbecue.
Then from 8-9pm, there will be musical performances by the Bega District Brass Band under the direction of band leader Candy McVeity.
They will be accompanied by your favourite carols sung by the Bega Combined Schools Children's Choir and Combined Churches Choir.
This will be the second year of Bega Community Carols by Candlelight being held in Bega Park.
Chamber president John Watkin said the venue is a great area with almost like an amphitheatre setting on the grassy slope and a cosy family-friendly atmosphere.
Be sure to take along your own camp chair or picnic blanket to enjoy the night. No alcohol or glass is permitted.
Relax, sing Christmas carols, bring your friends and family and get into the Christmas spirit at Bega's Community Carols by Candlelight this Sunday night.
Meanwhile, the Bega Chamber of Commerce is encouraging shops to be part of late night shopping ahead of Christmas.
On December 12 and 19, many Bega shops will be staying open past their usual hours for those last minute gifts.
(We also hear Santa will be wandering the streets with treats for kids!
