Sapphire Coast Kart Club officials said it was great to finish the season on a high.
A spokesman for the club said the club's final race meeting brought visitors from as far afield as Bairnsdale in the south and Grafton and Newcastle in the north.
"They raced along with many of our own members still competing to improve their position in the SCKC club championship standings," the spokesman said.
Club President Robert Motby thanked the many sponsors who got on board throughout the season's competition - without whom the trophies and prizes would not have been possible - also thanking his committee for the hard work put in throughout the year which has seen the SCKC grow to become one of the foremost Clubs in NSW.
"2020 is looking to be an exciting time in the Clubs history with increased memberships and a proposed extension from the current 700m layout out to 1030m and opening the track up to road driver training, the stay upright campaign and the Rotary Clubs RYDA training programme targeting 16 to 18 year olds"
