The Rural Aid Ball will take place at Club Sapphire this weekend and features entertainment from country musician Ell Regan.
Also, guest speaker Emma Moss will talk about the influence of young people in creating sustainable agriculture and there will be auctions and raffles with items donated by Far South Coast businesses.
Organiser Sophie Heffernan, who lives on a beef property near Candelo, said she came up with the idea of hosting the ball after being nominated for the Classic Ladies Foundation Young Ambassador Quest and seeing the effects of the drought on her region.
"It's pretty tough, it's tough for everyone though," the 20-year-old said.
"Everyone is starting to run out of water; I think the dairy farms are doing it even tough than we are."
She was speaking after Toad Heffernan, famous for winning House Rules, posted a video on social media discussing how critical the situation had become for his farm because of the drought.
Ms Heffernan said the aim of the ball was to raise as much money as possible for farmers, but it was also important to raise awareness of the conditions they faced due to the drought.
The Rural Aid Ball will be held on Saturday, November 30 from 7pm at Club Sapphire, Merimbula.
Tickets are $70 and include a complimentary champagne on arrival and light supper. There is a formal dress code.
