Shaun Geoffrey Larsen, 38, appeared in Batemans Bay Local Court on Thursday, November 14 after being arrested the previous day in the Bega Valley.
Police allege Larsen was detained at Greigs Flat and later charged with breaking and entering a property, theft, car theft and driving without a licence. Defence solicitor Lisa Stone entered guilty pleas to those charges on Larsen's behalf.
However, she said her client pleaded not guilty to being involved in a police pursuit and resisting a police officer in the execution of their duty.
She sought any dash cam or body recording data from the police.
The defence did not seek bail and the registrar formally refused it.
The case was adjourned to Tuesday, December 17 in Bega Local Court.
