A man allegedly found in possession of explosives on the Far South Coast last week has been handed additional charges.

On Tuesday, October 29, the 66-year-old was arrested after allegedly being found with explosive devices while allegedly illegally camping at Bermagui.
Following police inquiries, a search warrant was executed at his home in Tumut on Friday, November 1 by officers attached to Riverina Police District.
Officers from the NSW Police Force Rescue and Bomb Disposal Unit attended and disposed of a number of items that allegedly could be used to manufacture explosives.
In addition to the original charges, the man was charged with manufacture military style weapon and possess explosives for unlawful purpose.
He was refused bail and will appear at Young Local Court on January 21 next year.
According to the Judicial Commission of NSW, the maximum sentence for a person who manufactures a firearm is 10 years' imprisonment.
Possessing an explosive carries a maximum sentence of three years' imprisonment.
