A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance said about 2pm on Friday, October 18 ambulance officers attended the scene of the single car crash where a 46-year-old man was trapped inside the car "for some time".
The car had come to rest on its side about six kilometres along the road from the Princes Hwy at Kanoona.
The man reported shoulder and back pain but had no other visible injuries and was transported by road to the South East Regional Hospital in a stable condition, the ambulance spokesperson said.
A helicopter had been dispatched for the incident, but it was recalled before it arrived.
A Southern NSW Local Health District spokesperson said the man was discharged home on Saturday, October 19.
