Both the Bega-Angledale Bulls and the Tathra Sea Eagles posted wins over the South Euro Pirates and Pambula Bluedogs respectively.
At the Pambula Sporting Complex, the Bluedogs had the bat first and made a solid opening stand, but the middle order was dismissed cheaply, while the tail end all but collapsed to provide Tathra a modest target to chase on Saturday.
Sean Smith had a worthy knock of 41 runs before he was caught by Quinn Fletcher-Barrie, while fellow opener Jake Taylor had been done for just 15 runs off a Chris Dwyer catch.
Morgan Jackson and Tom Hammond both provided 13 runs to the home club, but the pair were dismissed off handy Tathra catches after some monster swings saw a few strikes soaring high into the waiting Tathra hands.
Cold winds and bouts of rain were dampening spirits, but Tathra pressed on in the field to see the innings out with the Bluedogs finishing all-out for 114 in the 30th over.
Four bowlers shared honours for Tathra with Pete Bennett, David Shane, Jakome Roberts-Charlton and Shannon Grass each claiming two wickets.
The reply took just under 20 overs with Tathra dropping only two wickets in the chase when Dwyer was done for a dozen caught and bowled by Jackson.
However, fellow opener Roberts-Charlton locked in at the crease and stayed throughout, finishing on 36 not-out.
Grass knocked 49 before his dismissal leaving Adam Blacka to hit just 11 runs for victory with Tathra finishing 2/116.
Meanwhile, in Bega, the Bulls openers had a solid start with Rob Stevenson unimpressed with his dismissal - caught behind when he said the ball had struck his shoulder, not the bat.
Fellow opener Brad Moon notched up 20 runs before he was caught.
Lachlan Sims went in at three and had a good stint of 37 runs building a good partnership with Ethan Gray who managed 20 before both were caught by Elijah Blair.
A neat lower-order stand from Braiden McIntosh and Liam Kelly aided Bega to a comfortable target after McIntosh scored 35 and Kelly a further 23.
The Pirates raided the bottom of the order to end Bega's innings three overs short for a worthy target of 197 runs.
Blair capped a best on ground display with the bat for the South Euro roster, hitting a match-best 60 runs, while opener Dillon Smith had hit 40 to get the Pirates into triple figures.
However, it was about all the Pirates could muster after opener Adrian Ridgley had been done for a single lbw off the bowling of McIntosh.
Then Gray tore up the order with the ball to secure four wickets for the bulls, including Blair's prized wicket.
