Eden Smokehouse and Tathra Oysters have claimed championship status at the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show, run by the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW.
The Eden Smokehouse's Hot Smoked Atlantic Salmon took out Champion Aquaculture Product Champion Smoked Product, while Tathra Oysters took out Champion Sydney Rock Oyster for its Nelson Lake Jewel Grade oyster.
Stan Soroka from Eden Smokehouse said being the undefeated champion of NSW as well as Victoria meant the Smokehouse Atlantic Salmon is undeniably Australia's number one.
"It's all got to do with choosing the freshest and best product and applying just the right amount of smoke and now there's no doubt about it - we've got it right."
Mr Soroka said the winning quality for the Smokehouse is all thanks to an ongoing team effort.
A spokesperson for Tathra Oysters said, "Being a family run business means we pretty much eat, breathe and sleep oysters".
"This level of devotion means we make a lot of sacrifices for the love of what we do. To have received a Championship award is a lovely testament that this dedication has been worthwhile."

Sydney Royal Fine Food Committee chair Lachlan Bowtell said consumers should be proud of the outstanding products made available right here in Australia.
"A Sydney Royal medal is a symbol of excellence and those awarded at the Taste of Excellence can be proud that their products are of the highest standard in Australia," Mr Bowtell said.
