For his performance Michael Simic will drop his persona of Mikelangelo and take his audience deep into the gently beating heart of the crooner.
The show will be filled with music from the likes of Dean Martin to David Bowie, Bing Crosby to Billy Idol, Roy Orbison to Chris Isaak, Sam Cooke to Bryan Ferry, and of course some Elvis for good measure.
Simic will also prove the art of the crooner is not a thing of the past and will perform a collection of his own original ballads, love songs and lullabies.
King of the Crooners is a show that gives voice to the genuine tenderness that lives in the souls of men.
It is on Saturday, September 28 from 7.30pm at Navigate Arts, the Old Tanja Church, 1140 Tathra-Bermagui Rd.
Tickets are $25 and are available online here, with drinks and food available from 6pm on the night.
Also, a two-day making music workshop will be hosted by Simic and Louise Morris.
As well as teaching practical and creative skills around music, song writing and performance, the workshops will help to build confidence and self-esteem, communication, co-operation, community and participants will have a whole lot of fun doing it.
The workshop will run at Navigate Arts on Saturday, September 28 from 10am-4pm and Sunday, September 29 from 10am-4pm with a participant concert for family and friends at 5pm that afternoon.
It is for all ages aged 12 and up and costs $85. To learn more and book click here.
