It is organised by the School Strike 4 Climate, which calls for the funding of a just transition and job creation for all fossil-fuel workers and communities, as well as 100 per cent renewable energy generation and exports by 2030.
The local strike will be on Friday from 12noon in Littleton Gardens, Bega.
