The evening festival drew a huge crowd to Littleton Gardens in Bega on Friday night, September 13, to enjoy a spectacular audio-visual feast of local creativity.
The crowd was led on a journey meandering through the gardens with musicians, dancers, poets and a choir, light and video projections on to nearby buildings - with every element as enjoyable and entrancing as the last.
Performers included Indigenous poet Sassi Nuyum, Fling Physical Theatre, Sam and Robyn Martin, Warren Foster Jr, the children from Navigate Explorers, bamboo flute and taiko drumming from YuNiOn, and the Belun-Malu Choir.
Parklight was the opening event for the Festival of Open Minds, which continued on Saturday with a raft of inspiring speakers.
