So how will these continue to be in our community when you go ahead with the nonsense of your climate hoax? What will we do when we want to go for a swim in what we are used to all our lives at our local swimming pools?

In relation to council wanting ratepayers to foot the bill for repairs and maintenance of Bega Valley Shire pools there is a remarkable lack of transparency and bad planning.

Council hasn't explained in plain English to us ratepayers why they need to do this. We already have increasing levels of rates without this imposition.

Why hasn't this, over the last how many years, been factored into council's budget? Whoever does all of council's budgets shows a remarkable lack of foresight regarding something as important as this.

This issue should be voted on by the poor ratepayers who are being asked to foot the bill.

A question also yet to be made transparent is once these repairs are complete will our rates go down accordingly? I don't think so. It will then be part of general revenue and used for other things.

Can you ever remember any of the usual bills for rates, electricity, gas, water and so on ever going down, because I can't.

Since council brought in the FOGO system they have boasted how much money they are saving us. Why don't they divert all these savings to repair and maintain our pools?

I am glad to see that being policed as some people do that all the time while others obey the law, the signs are obvious. I'd like to know what speed someone is doing if they're "committed to the turn".

I have been complaining about this for sometime. I have witnessed people continue around once they have seen the signs. No sympathy for those who choose to ignore them.

It's clearly not working to control traffic if 10 people are fined in one hour, and I think it's unreasonable to fine those people for being subjected to such a stupid traffic arrangement. There's car parking in clear sight so of course visitors turn right when they see the parks available. Then suddenly there's a 'No entry' sign that drivers might not even notice. Needs to be redesigned.

I feel deeply sorry for the people fined due to lack of signage! I myself have turned right to find a sign half way around. These people should not have to pay for a fine that is clearly a trap for revenue making. Fix it now.

I almost entered through that sign also as I wanted to go to Woolworths and the parking was close. I had to do a quick right hand turn and go around the roundabout again and into the underground car park.

You have to be kidding. Here we are in the worst drought in years, farmers are getting nothing for the little milk they can produce, prices have tripled in feeding the stock, and all the Bega Cheese staff can think of are their own pockets.
