Tathra was looking to make amends for last week's major semi-final loss to Merimbula, while Pambula had a week off after beating Narooma in the minor semi-final.
Any concerns about the Sea Eagles' form were quickly forgotten, as they raced out of the blocks with the first five goals of the game.
The second-placed Sea Eagles dominated through the midfield in the quarter, giving their forwards ample opportunity to put the game away early.
Pambula's Mitch Wallis thought he had a goal after the first-quarter siren, but his shot was eventually waved away as a behind.
Tathra continued to press the issue early in the second quarter, kicking another three goals to race to a 40-point lead.
However, Pambula worked its way back into the contest, and kicked the final two goals of the quarter to trail by 32 at the half-time break.
The Panthers continued their momentum into the third, pegging the lead back to 25 points before running out of steam.
The match remained tight on the ground in the fourth quarter, but the Sea Eagles did enough to record a 13.4 (82) to 6.9 (45) victory.
The Sea Eagles will have a chance to avenge their semi-final loss to the Diggers in next weekend's grand final at Berrambool Oval.
