A huge six days of fibrous colour, fun and friendship is coming to the Narooma School of Arts Precinct, October 4-9.
The 2019 Fibre Fest will have something for everyone, no matter what skill level.
The program includes a fine fibre exhibition, masterclasses in traditional basket weaving, loom weaving and indigo dyeing.
There will be drop-in fibre craft workshops including crochet and felting, a market place of handmade unique crafts for sale and a very special fibre related film screening to warm your heart.
All fibre and textile artists can enter up to two pieces to the Fine Fibre Exhibition and/or up to 10 pieces for sale in the Market Place.
Entries are due in late September and forms are available, here.
For Masterclass bookings and film screening tickets visit Narooma School of Arts Facebook page or website. Alternatively, call 0400 442 945. Places are limited, so book yourself in early.
Fibre Fest are also looking for volunteers to help out across the six days.
Drop-in to find out what Fibre Fest is all about at the working bee on Saturday, August 31, from 10am - 3pm at the Narooma School of Arts Studios (behind the Kinema).
Everyone is welcome to help with yarn-bombing installations and other fun fibrous preparations.
