A 40-year-old man has been airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a critical condition after the semi-trailer he was driving rolled off the Princes Highway, 30 kilometres south of Eden Thursday morning.

Emergency services received reports of the single vehicle crash shortly before 4am Thursday, August 8.
NSW Ambulance Far South Coast Inspector Bob Whitney said, "NSW Ambulance responded with multiple crews as well as the NSW Ambulance Toll Rescue Helicopter."
It was reported the man was trapped for around half an hour before being released by emergency responders.
The man was treated for a critical head injury and multiple lower body fractures and was taken to Merimbula Airport where paramedics were met by the NSW Ambulance Toll Rescue Helicopter who transported the patient to Canberra Hospital in a critical condition.
