The annual Tathra Beach Winter Breeze Golf Tournament was held last week with a mixed 4BBB on the Friday and single stableford games on Saturday and Sunday.

Winners of the 4BBB were Paul and Denise Falvey with 46 points from the Campbells and Kevin Healey & Sue Howland with 44 points.
The ladies single stableford was played in two divisions. The best score on Saturday, was once again returned by Joy Brunton with 36 points. This gave Joy the win in Div 2 (hcps 27-45) from Edith Robinson who scored 34 points.
Div 1 (hcps 0-26) was won by Sue Howland with 34 points just one point in front of Trish Tarlinton, with 33 points. Nearest the Pins were won by Di Campbell on the 3rd, Sue Howland on the 9th and Noeline Bell on the 14th and 18th. Ball winners needed scores of 31 and better and 9 were given.
On Sunday the winner of Div 1 was Juanita Trent with 34 points. Wendy Dunn, with 33 points, was runner-up. Alison Anderson was the winner of Div 2 on a countback from Yetti Burgess. Both players had 30 points. Trish Tarlinton won nearest the pin on the 9th, Lyn Hambilton on the 14th and Jo Byrnes on the 3rd and 18th.
The Winter Breeze 36 holes Div 1 winner, with 66 points, was Trish Tarlinton. The runner-up, with 61 points was Lyn Hambilton. Marg Kermode was the winner in Div 2, with 67 points. Sandra Mullaney was runner-up with 64 points.
The Tathra/Bermagui Interclub event was played on Tuesday with a field of 50 players. The Tathra players were triumphant by 136 to 123.
In the individual competition Marnie Nicholson was the winner of Div 1 (hcps 0-24) with a great score of 38 points. Runner-up, with 33 points, was Wendy Dunn. Div 2 (hcps 25-31) with 32 points, went to Rhonda Castellari. Margaret Nall was runner-up. One of our newer golfers, Cherryle Watters, had the best round in Div 3 (hcps 32-45) to score 31 points from Carol Brown who had 31.
The visitors prize was won by Bermagui player Maggie Hayes, with 32 points. Jeanette Cox, Marg Nall, Deidre Feneley and Sandy Chamberlain had the best tee shots on the par 3's. Balls were won by players with scores from 30 to 38 and 18 were won.
Next Saturday will be Versus par and on Tuesday a stroke round for Monthly Medal No.5 is scheduled.
On Monday, July 21, ladies played 9 holes on a fine sunny day. Stableford winners on the front 9 of the short course were, Yetti Burgess, Anne Tranter, Denise Walter, Wendy Smith, Patty McCartney, Jo Byrnes, Phyllis Piscopo and Shirley Russell.
Next week the game will be on the back 9 of the short course, 8.30am hit-off. All welcome.
